Datuk Ong Kim Swee, head coach of Sabah FC thinks everything is going as planned ahead of match against Macarthur FC in the AFC Cup 2023/24 ASEAN Zone Semi-Final tomorrow.
Sabah FC advanced to this round as a champion of Group H, and this match is the first match of Rhino’s squad after Liga Super Malaysia ended season 2023 in December 2023.
“We have arrived here since three days ago. The weather here is also very good, and everything is going as planned.” Kim Swee said.
“However, I feel that in this situation, Macarthur is in a better situation than us (Sabah). We are still in a calm state but for sure this match will not be easy for us.”
“Yes, of course it’s not easy when the league stopped last December with the opponent undefeated in the last 7 games,”
AFC Cup 2023/24 ASEAN Zone semi-final between Macarthur FC(AUS) and Sabah FC(MAS) will be played on 13 February 2024 at 3.00 pm.(Malaysian time) at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Sydney.
