Sabah Football Association (SAFA) hopes that all Sabah FC players will be able to show off their best performance in the AFC Cup 2023/24 ASEAN Zone semi-final in Australia.
Sabah FC entering in knockout stage of ASEAN Zone as champions of Group H and face Macarthur FC, a club from Australia on 13 February 2024 at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Sydney.
Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya, President of SAFA believed that Datuk Ong Kim Swee’s men would be able to face the opposing team well in the match based on the training program being carried out by the Sabah FC at this time.
“They (Sabah FC players) are actively training, and the match is expected to be held in mid-February in Sydney.” President SAFA said to reporter reporters after meeting traders in conjunction with the Chinese New Year at Pekan Tanjung Aru and Pekan Sembulan Today.
“The Macarthur team is a very strong team in the Australian League, and we hope that Sabah FC can show off a good performance in the match,”
