Tomislav Steinbruckner, head coach of Terengganu FC, believes they’re strong enough to play against Bali United in the AFC Cup 2023/24 Group Stage, Group G tomorrow, despite all players just using full power to play in the match Piala Malaysia 2023 final in last Friday.
“Tomorrow, I’m a little bit worried because after the final check-up, you know, this is normal. Even players are slightly empty, not physically, because we lost and gave our best in the Piala Malaysia Final, but we have nothing to lose for tomorrow. I expect the same as a first leg in Bali.” Tomi said.
“We don’t have any suspension only injury from the last match. But Adam Azmi has had a problem with his knee, and he called yesterday to check with the national team doctors. The situation is not good, but he will not join the training this afternoon.”
“Of course, it’s possible to win if it’s possible. I forgot to say yesterday that Habib Haroon is also not training because he doesn’t feel good. I don’t know what happened, but he went to the hospital in the afternoon after training for infusion.”
“Bali is a good team. In the last 2-3 months, they have improved. They had a better result.”
“In Indonesia, it has quality also. But I believe in my team, and I intend to get the team ready. Who is ready for tomorrow’s match? I know my players are strong enough.”
In addition, Habi Haroon, captain of Terengganu FC, has confirmed ready to play tomorrow to take opportunity passes to knock-out round in the ASEAN Zone.
“Yeah, the last 3 days, all the players went out to the final because the final line they could play was our ability, so tomorrow we are going all out to play.”
