Datuk Rizam Ismail assemblyman state(ADUN) of Sungai Air Tawar will contribute half his salary next month to ease the burden of Selangor FC (SFC) in paying the fine imposed by the Malaysian Football League (MFL).
Selangor FC was just sanctioned by MFL to be fined RM100,000(which money will be donated to a charity to be decided later) and deducted 3 points in Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25.
“This solidarity is not a political farce, but rather a manifestation of the support of the people of Rumpun Selangor to the Red Giants team, the pride of our state, whether above or below remain loyal together.” Datuk Rizam said in official statement.
“I hope the supporters can continue to give firm support to the SFC so that all its players are enthusiastic about facing this challenge. Hopefully, the Red Giants will remain superior in Malaysian football,” he said in a statement today.
He is the third assemblyman to say so after the famous rapper who is also an assemblyman for Lembah Jaya, Altimet, and Kota Damansara Izuan Kasim. And the Chairman of the Standing Committee for Rural Development, Unity and Consumers
