Negeri Sembilan FC still has no point in this season after losing to Kuala Lumpur City, scoring 0-3 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi.
Negeri Sembilan FC fielded an attacking combination featuring Jacque Faye, Takumi Sasaki, Htet Aung, and Hadin Azman, while KL City relied on Paulo Josue and Haqimi Azim to steer their attack.
The first half saw both teams vying for control, but the visiting team, KL City, broke the deadlock. In the 28th minute, midfielder Brendan Gan scored the opening goal with a well-placed shot, giving KL City a 1-0 lead.
KL City continued to dominate in the second half. Captain Paulo Josue doubled their lead with a powerful shot that eluded the home team’s goalkeeper, Aqil Razak, making it 2-0.
Before the match ended, KL City substitute Sharvin added the third goal with a header from Zhafri Yahya’s cross, ensuring a comprehensive 3-0 victory for the visiting team.
