Esteban Solari, head coach of Johor Darul Ta’zim, believes caused by the failure of his players to balance the strength of the Japanese club. after match losing to Kawasaki Frontale 0-5 in the AFC Champions League 2023/24 Group Stage, Group I last night.
Solari said that what happened in the action was very painful to swallow but had to accept that Kawasaki Frontale was in a class of its own.
“Obviously, it was a difficult night for us because we didn’t play the way we wanted, and this also means we’re out of the competition even though there’s still one game left,” Solari said.
“We were confident before going down against Kawasaki Frontale, but we didn’t play the way we should have when we lost the ball and failed to function properly.”
“We were not in the game and I felt our performance was not what we usually practice and it was very sad when we lost.”
“I refuse to comment further,”
