True Bangkok United has officially announced the signing of Pratama Arhan, the 23-year-old Indonesian national left-back, from Suwon FC.
Arhan joins the team for the second half of the 2024/25 season, bolstering the Angels’ squad as they compete in the Thai League, domestic cups, and the AFC Champions League Two.
Arhan began his professional career with PSIS Semarang in Indonesia’s League 1 before embarking on an overseas journey. He first joined Tokyo Verdy in Japan’s J2 League and later moved to Suwon FC in South Korea’s K-League.
On the international stage, Arhan has been a consistent performer, representing Indonesia at all levels—U19, U22, U23, and the senior team. His contributions have been particularly vital in the 2026 World Cup Asian qualifiers, where he played a key role in the Garuda’s campaign.
Arhan is known for his aggressive attacking style, solid defensive capabilities, and his trademark long throw-ins, which have proven to be a game-changer in critical matches. With his arrival, Bangkok United gains a dynamic player who can add depth and versatility to the left flank.
“Pratama Arhan’s addition will strengthen the Angels’ left wing. His blend of offensive and defensive skills, along with his long throw-ins, will provide a new dimension to our game,” the club stated.
Pratama Arhan is Bangkok United’s first signing in the second-leg transfer window, signaling the club’s intent to compete on all fronts. His inclusion comes at a critical juncture as the team aims to solidify their position in domestic competitions and make a strong push in the AFC Champions League Two.
With Arhan’s arrival, Bangkok United is poised to enhance their squad depth and maintain their status as one of the most competitive teams in the region. Fans eagerly anticipate the impact he will bring to the team in the weeks to come.
