Hakim Danish continued his impressive rookie campaign in the Moto3 World Championship after securing another points-scoring finish at the MICHELIN Grand Prix of France 2026 held at Circuit Bugatti.
Representing AEONCredit – MT Helmets – MSi, the young Malaysian rider once again demonstrated maturity and consistency in difficult weather conditions to finish inside the top 10 during Round 5 of the 2026 Moto3 season.
Hakim began the race from Grid 12 following a strong qualifying performance on Saturday, where he successfully advanced directly into Q2 before securing a fourth-row start.
However, race day presented an entirely different challenge.

When the lights went out, Hakim made a composed start and managed to hold his position in the early laps despite the treacherous surface.
As the race unfolded, the Malaysian youngster showed excellent confidence in wet conditions and remained firmly in contention for a top-10 finish throughout the shortened encounter.
Hakim continued to battle aggressively inside the leading group outside the podium fight and repeatedly threatened to climb even higher up the order as the race progressed.
After surviving the demanding conditions and maintaining a consistent pace across all 13 laps, Hakim eventually crossed the finish line in 10th position, ending the race 21.847 seconds behind the winner.
The result earned the Malaysian rider another valuable six championship points, bringing his total tally to 18 points after five races in his debut Moto3 campaign.
The race victory went to Spanish talent Maximo Quiles of CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team, who produced a clinical ride to take the chequered flag with a winning time of 24:41.640.
For Hakim, another points finish at one of the calendar’s most demanding circuits further underlined his growing confidence and adaptation to world championship competition.
His ability to remain composed in wet conditions and consistently challenge inside the top group continues to strengthen optimism around Malaysian representation in Grand Prix motorcycle racing.
