Jaroslav Silhavy, head coach of the Oman national team, was the most relieved and happy after beating the Malaysia national team 2-0 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 Group D last Thursday.
However, Silhavy must have refused to be happy, and his second test with Oman was ruined by a defeat to Malaysia.
“I would like to thank the players for the performance and the results drawn; since the start of the match, the players showed a high desire to win.” Czech coach said.
“The preparation period was very short but with the hard work of the players, we managed to get the win. We have another game in the next few days and we will be ready for that.”
“We started the match with high pressure. We played our way of the game and managed to score the goals we needed,”
