Rithy Samnang, Owner of Phnom Penh Crown FC club in the Cambodian Premier League passed away at age, 41 this morning in Phnom Penh, Cambodia due to illness.
Samnang, who entered as a businessman at the age of 16, has been known as the founder of several companies, particularly Pi Pay, a cashless payment platform in Cambodia. and he is the owner and Phnom Penh Crown FC since 2009 until now.
“We, the team leaders, coaches, staff as well as all players of Phnom Penh Crown Football Club, are deeply saddened and deeply saddened by the death of Oknha Rithy Samnang, President of Phnom Penh Crown Football Club. Died at 8.10 am on 11 May 2022 due to illness.” Phnom Penh Crown FC said in Official Statement.
