Thai-Malaysian Muay Thai prodigy Aliff Sor Dechapan delivered a masterclass at ONE Fight Night 32, securing a unanimous decision victory over Moroccan striker Elmehdi El Jamari in the co-main event — marking his second win over the El Jamari family.
Just nine months after defeating Elmehdi’s older brother Zakaria, Aliff once again showcased why he’s being touted as one of the most exciting and technically brilliant strikers in the sport today.
From the opening round, the 21-year-old Sor Dechapan standout asserted his dominance with surgical precision. Aliff made full use of his reach, punishing Elmehdi with a barrage of leg and body kicks, and delivering one of the most devastating strikes of the night — a perfectly-timed spinning back kick to the face that drew gasps from the crowd at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
Despite the early onslaught, Elmehdi showed tremendous grit. In the second round, the Moroccan found success with his left hook, briefly swinging momentum his way and forcing Aliff to adjust.
In the third, Aliff responded like a true contender. He ramped up the pressure, mixing powerful kicks with crisp boxing combinations, while expertly circling away from danger. Elmehdi continued to press forward, but Aliff’s distance management and counterstriking were simply too sharp.
All three judges scored the fight in favor of the Thai-Malaysian ace, pushing his career record to an impressive 61 wins with only 9 losses.
With this dominant win, Aliff Sor Dechapan not only cements his place among the elite of the strawweight Muay Thai division, but he may have also earned himself a shot at the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title, currently held by two-sport king Prajanchai PK Saenchai.
