Singapore interim head coach Gavin Lee has unveiled his 26-man squad for the upcoming November FIFA International Window, which will see the Lions face two crucial fixtures that could determine their qualification for the AFC Asian Cup 2027™ in Saudi Arabia.
Gavin Lee has maintained the core group that has driven Singapore’s campaign while rewarding standout domestic performances from the Singapore Premier League (SPL).
Geylang International captain Joshua Pereira earns a well-deserved recall after his commanding displays in defence, while Lion City Sailors full-back Akram Azman and BG Tampines Rovers winger Faris Ramli also return to the national fold.
Faris’ inclusion bolsters Singapore’s attacking options, joining Ikhsan and Ilhan Fandi, and Song Uiyoung, who reignited the Lions’ qualifying campaign with a match-winning brace against India in Goa last month.

Speaking ahead of the international window, Lee emphasized the importance of focus, belief, and unity:
“We are fully aware of the opportunity in front of us. We need the same focus on preparation, being together, and trusting our processes,” said Lee.
“This is a moment for everyone – the team, the staff, and the fans – to come together. The belief and backing of our supporters will be that difference for us.”
The Lions will first take on Thailand in Pathum Thani on 13 November before a decisive clash against Hong Kong, China at the Kai Tak Stadium five days later.
Heading into the final two Group C fixtures, Singapore and Hong Kong are level on eight points, with the latter holding a slim advantage on goal difference. However, under AFC competition rules, head-to-head results take precedence, meaning that victory in Hong Kong will guarantee Singapore top spot in Group C and a direct ticket to the Asian Cup Finals — regardless of other results.
