Kim Pan-Gon is during consideration and decided to leave as head coach of the Malaysia national team and sent a letter to the Football Association of Malaysia(FAM) to resign.
According to Zulhelmi Zainal, a reporter from Astro Arena, Kim Pan-Gon wants to leave the Malaysia national team. It is understood that the operator from South Korea has sent a letter ready to terminate the contract early when his contract ends at the end of next year.
Previously, Malaysia’s show brilliant streak in the first two matches failed to continue when they lost 0-2 in the two games against Oman in Muscat and also at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, last Tuesday.
Kim Pan-Gon, taking the position of head coach of Malaysia’s national team in 2022, has made achievements, succeeding in improving the national squad so that it is ranked 130th in the world in addition to successfully bringing Malaysia to the AFC Asian Cup 2023 on merit and being runner-up at Merdeka Cup 2023.
