Tunku Ismail Idris Abdul Majid Abu Bakar Iskandar ibni Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ), owner of Johor Darul Ta’Zim insisted that his team will come out as underdogs to face the Malaysian League competition in season 2023.
“I think in 2023, JDT is the underdog because we haven’t invested money and JDT is not a team that will be challenged because we are more comfortable being a non-choice team,” TMJ said with Flash Sukan.
In addition, Tunku Ismail revealed JDT will not invest in getting players and believes in the ability of existing players especially after sweeping all the championships offered in the Malaysian League competition this season.
