Johor Darul Ta’zim will undergo the 2024 and 2025 preseason in Spain and Portugal following an encouraging discussion between HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, and Constantin Teodoro Panagopoulos, owner of Portimonense FC and a shareholder of several clubs in Europe.
JDT have been offered to utilise top training facilities in Portugal without incurring any cost.
In addition, Johor Darul Ta’Zim are looking to raise the bar further with quality preseason matches in Europe next season.
JDT has been having preseasons in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, since 2020, and Europe is the next step forward.
