Atthaya “Jeeno” Thitikul has sent the home crowd into a frenzy, firing a clinical 6-under 66 on Moving Day to seize total control of the Honda LPGA Thailand 2026.
Sitting at a staggering 20-under-par total, the Thai phenom is just 18 holes away from a historic victory on home soil, but she’ll need to fend off a lurking South Korean superstar to lift the trophy.
Jeeno’s round was a masterclass in composure. After a dominant front nine and a steady start to the back, a bogey on the par-4 14th threatened to stall her momentum. But true to her World No. 1 status, Jeeno didn’t just recover—she exploded.
Closing the day with three consecutive birdies on 16, 17, and 18, she reminded everyone why she currently wears the crown of women’s golf.
Winning the Honda LPGA Thailand is the ultimate dream for any Thai golfer, and Jeeno is now in the driver’s seat. A two-stroke lead over a technician like Kim Hyo-joo is comfortable but dangerous. Kim is known for her “flawless” swing and rarely beats herself.
