Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team) clinched a commanding sprint race victory at the Chang International Circuit, leading a dominant Ducati performance that saw the Italian manufacturer sweep the top eight positions.
Bastianini’s perfect start propelled him ahead of polesitter Francesco Bagnaia, enabling him to pull away unchallenged for a comfortable win.
Championship contender Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) showcased his tenacity as he fought through the front pack to secure second place, edging closer to the title. Despite a shaky start, Martin’s calculated approach allowed him to pick off rivals, including his primary championship competitor Bagnaia, extending his lead to 26 points in the standings.
Bagnaia, who initially led from pole, had to settle for third after losing his advantage off the line and enduring a heated battle with Martin. The defending champion struggled to regain his momentum, ultimately conceding ground to his rival.
Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) put in a strong showing, finishing fourth as one of the fastest riders on track. Although he couldn’t execute an early pass on Bagnaia, Marquez showcased impressive pace, further underlining Ducati’s control over the circuit.
Ducati’s dominance was unmistakable, with the top eight spots secured by its riders in a powerful display of the Italian manufacturer’s supremacy. The MotoGP championship battle heats up as the paddock looks forward to the next electrifying showdown.
