Malaysian Women’s doubles pair, Pearly Tan-Thinaah Muralitharan through to the quarter-final as runner-up of Group A after beating Indonesian pair Apriyani Rahayu-Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti in the Women’s doubles event of badminton at the Olympics 2024 held at Porte de La Chapelle Arena, Paris.
Pearly Tan-Thinaah Muralitharan made a surprised and win straight set scoring 21-18 21-9 in 45 minutes of action.
With this victory, Pearly Tan-Thinaah Muralitharan secured their position as the runner-up in Group A (A2) and will now await the draw to determine their opponent from the top group pair in the quarter-finals.
