An interview with the Philippines head coach, Josep Ferre was made in the press conference of AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022.
Josep Ferre said, “We played against Vietnam, which was an opportunity to prepare for this championship. And in short term, we have tried to guide the players on how to play.”
He added, “What I focus on now is the preparation and the way the team plays; the first game is always difficult. We can’t talk about the results of the previous matches, but at the moment when the game starts, anything can happen. Josep Ferre said the Philippines players are very focused at the moment, thus making him excited to trust the players. The Philippines lost to Vietnam 0-1 on December 14, 2022.
Cambodia will host Philippines at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh on Tuesday (December 20) in their opening game of the 2022 AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup.
