Nafuzi Zain, head coach of Kedah Darul Aman needed the strategy in the second quarter-final at home to ensure that Kedah did not concede after only being in short supply with one goal in the first quarter-final action.
Kedah Darul Aman is the side advantage after winning Penang FC 1-0 in the first match of the Piala FA Malaysia 2024/25 Quarter-Final at Stadium Bandaraya, Pulau Pinang last Saturday.
“To ensure a chance to advance to the semi-finals, we need to win and strengthen our defense to avoid conceding in this second action.” Nafuzi said.
“Penang FC we know has a fast attack movement and this can pose a threat to our defense, therefore I want all players to be more alert to avoid any lapses in what is expected to be a fierce action.”
“We need to go all out and give our best focus throughout this action. With the moral support that the supporters will give, I hope we will gain more confidence when we play later,” said Nafuzi.”
According to Nafuzi, during the preparation period that is being done before the day of the match, he monitors all aspects of weaknesses in all positions to ensure that every plan can be improved further compared to the action of the first quarter-final.”
