Jacon Mahler, defender of Singapore national team has moved to join Muangthong United, a club in Thai League 1 in season 2024/25.
Mahler just left Madura United, a club in Liga 1 Indonesia after ended season 2023/24 and decided to continue playing in the abroad league.
Mahler is of Singaporean-Danish descent. and have been playing in the Singapore Premier League with Young Lions, since 2018 before moving to Madura United in season 2023/24.
Mahler has been on the Singapore national team since their young squad as U16, U19, and U23, and made 12 appearances in the main squad.
In addition, Muangthong United has opened Scott Woods, a defender of the Philippines national team another player in the ASEAN quota to join the team in the season onwards also.
