Malaysia’s rising motorsport prodigy Hakim Danish Ramli is set to make another leap onto the world stage as he has been officially announced as the replacement for Ryusei Yamanaka in the final two rounds of the 2025 Moto3 World Championship, taking place at the PortugueseGP in Portimão and the Valencia GP later this month.
The AEON Credit SIC Racing Team rider will fill in for Yamanaka, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. This opportunity marks a significant milestone for the 17-year-old Malaysian, offering him a valuable platform to demonstrate his talent and adaptability at the highest level of competition.
For Hakim, who has been steadily impressing in the FIM JuniorGP Championship throughout the season with consistent performances, this call-up serves as both recognition of his potential and a crucial stepping stone toward his long-term dream — reaching the MotoGP World Championship.
“Getting this chance to race in the final two Moto3 Grands Prix is a huge honor,” Hakim shared in an earlier statement. “Every race at this level is a learning experience, and I want to make the most of it — for myself, for my team, and for Malaysia.”
With strong national support and growing anticipation among Malaysian motorsport fans, all eyes will be on Hakim as he once again carries the Jalur Gemilang onto the international grid.
His return to world championship action not only symbolizes Malaysia’s continued presence in global motorcycle racing but also underscores the success of the SIC Racing Team’s development program, which has nurtured several promising young riders through its ranks.
As the season heads into its dramatic conclusion in Portugal (7–9 November) and Valencia (14–16 November), Malaysian fans are eager to see Hakim Danish showcase his pace, composure, and racing instinct against some of the sport’s finest young talents.
