First Instance Body (FIB), an independent licensing authority under the Malaysian Football League (MFL), has officially granted full National Club Licences to Kuala Lumpur City FC, Kelantan Darul Naim FC, and PDRM FC for the upcoming 2025/26 Liga Super Malaysia season.
This follows an earlier conditional approval issued to the three clubs, which required them to submit additional financial documentation by the deadline of 31 May 2025, in accordance with Article 8(l) of the MFL Club Licensing Regulations.
In a statement released today, FIB confirmed that all three clubs met the submission deadline, and after a thorough review of the documents, successfully complied with all financial and regulatory requirements.
“After a detailed evaluation, FIB is satisfied that Kuala Lumpur City FC, Kelantan Darul Naim FC, and PDRM FC have demonstrated full compliance and are therefore awarded full National Licences,” said Sheikh Mohd Nasir Sheikh Mohd Sharif, Chairman of the FIB.
The FIB also commended the professionalism, cooperation, and commitment shown by the three clubs throughout the licensing process and extended best wishes for their campaigns in the top flight of Malaysian football.
With this announcement, a total of 13 clubs have now secured National Licences for the 2025-2026 Liga Super season. These include:
- Previously approved clubs: Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT), Selangor FC, Penang FC, Kuching City FC, Sabah FC, Terengganu FC, Sri Pahang FC, Negeri Sembilan FC
