Dynamic winger Ramadhan Saifullah will continue his journey with Kuching City FC, this time on a permanent transfer, following the expiry of his contract with Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).
The 24-year-old attacker originally joined The Cats on loan during the second transfer window of the 2024/25 season, and quickly made a strong impact under the guidance of head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak.
Ramadhan delivered an impressive campaign, racking up 16 appearances, five goals, and two assists across all competitions. His contributions were pivotal in helping Kuching City finish fourth in the Liga Super Malaysia, marking one of the club’s most successful seasons to date.
Following JDT’s decision to release the winger, Kuching City moved swiftly to secure his services permanently.
“After the conclusion of his contract with Johor Darul Ta’zim, Ramadhan Saifullah has opted to continue with Kuching City FC under a new status,” the club said in an official statement.
“Ramadhan was instrumental in the team’s success last season and consistently displayed high-level performances. We hope he continues to shine and achieves even greater milestones with Kuching City FC.”
This move marks Aidil Sharin’s first official signing for the upcoming 2025/26 season, signaling the club’s intent to build on last year’s momentum.
With key foreign players like Nando Welter and Tchetche Kipre departing the club, Kuching City is expected to ramp up efforts in scouting new local and international talent to reinforce the squad.
