Japan’s national team showed brutal performance after winning China national team scoring 7-0 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 3 Group C at Saitama Stadium, Saitama.
From the start, Japan controlled possession and applied pressure on China’s defense. In the 11th minute, Kubo Takefusa sent a precise cross to Doan Ritsu, whose header was saved, but moments later, Wataru Endo headed in Kubo’s corner kick to give Japan the lead.
Japan continued to dominate, with Kaoru Mitoma and Doan Ritsu creating chances from the wings. Just before halftime, Mitoma scored Japan’s second goal with a well-placed header from a cross by Doan.
In the second half, Japan maintained their relentless attack. Takumi Minamino added two more goals, with Ueda Ayase and Machida Hiroki contributing to the build-up play. Substitute Junya Ito scored Japan’s fifth goal, and Daizen Maeda added a sixth with a header from Ito’s cross.
