Cambodia U22 national team collected 3 points on their debut after beating Timor-Leste U22 national team with a score of 4-0 in the Men’s football match at the SEA Games 2023 Group stage, group A at the Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh.
The thrilling match between Cambodia and East Timor in the Olympic Stadium under the watchful eye of tens of thousands of fans, both teams at the beginning of the session, attacked each other. In the 39th minute, Cambodia had a golden opportunity to take the lead with a good shot from Josinti, which came from a free kick.
Ready for the first half, Cambodia continued to attack until the opportunity to score the second goal in the 45th minute by Ju Sinti 45 + 3 minutes. End of the first leg Cambodia 2-0 East Timor.

Cambodia scored the fourth goal by Lim Pisoth.Cambodia beat Timor-Leste 4-0, Cambodia topped Group A with 3 points, ahead of Indonesia in second place with 3 points. East Timor fell to the bottom of the table.
