Vietnam U19 national team secured their first three points after defeating the Philippines U19 national team 4-1 in the AFF U19 Championship 2022 Group stage Group A at Madyah Stadium, Jakarta.
Compared to the 0-0 draw with U19 Indonesia, U19 Vietnam played well and controlled the ball more. They attacked coherently and methodically when the trio of Quoc Viet, Van Khang and Van Truong made a connection.
Vietnam has a favorable position is partly thanks to Quoc Viet’s early goal. In the 4th minute, he made a conscious move in the penalty area to beat the opponent’s goalkeeper.
