Malaysia national team has announced 26 players in the squad for the 2 International Friendly ‘A’ Matches against Laos, and India on 14, 19 November 2024.
Head coach Pau Marti has assembled the Harimau Malaya squad to face Laos on November 14 at PAT Stadium in Bangkok and India on November 18 at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.
The list retains 20 players from the October training camp in New Zealand, with six new inclusions: goalkeeper Haziq Nadzli (Perak FC), Ubaidullah Shamsul Fazili (Terengganu FC), Mukhairi Ajmal Mahadi (Selangor FC), Sergio Aguero (Sri Pahang FC), Natxo Insa (Johor Darul Ta’zim), and captain Dion Cools (Buriram United). The squad reflects Malaysia’s best talent from clubs across Malaysia, with Johor Darul Ta’zim leading in representation.
The team will begin centralized training at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya on November 10-11 before flying to Bangkok on November 12. Following the clash with Laos, they will head to Hyderabad for the match against India on November 18.
