Lee Zii Jia clinched victory over China’s representative, Lei Lan Xi, 2-0, scoring a 21-17, 23-21 in the first round of action.
Lee Zii Jia will meet South Korean player Jeon Hyeok Jin in the battle for a place in the quarter-finals tomorrow.
