Malaysia Futsal national team, faced with the problem of preparing the team for AFF Futsal Championship 2022, As the team currently has 5 key players infected with COVID-19, although these players have now recovered from COVID-19,
Although, the group has now recovered from COVID-19, but has travel issues that have forced their plans to change. Because of problems with documents TRAVEL PASS because all the players have just recovered from COVID-19.
“We’re late to Bangkok, but we haven’t traveled yet. Not caused by the carelessness of the Malaysia Football Association. and is not related to the delayed submission of vaccine documents.” Chiew Chun yong, headcoach Malaysia Futsal said.
“After discussions with all parties So we decided to continue practicing at the Arena Futsal FAM. It will depart on Tuesday 29 March or Wednesday 30 March until all players receive the TRAVEL PASS.”
“This caused the cancellation of the friendly match against Australia and the Thai League clubs as well.”
Malaysia, will join in group A with Thailand(Host nation), Indonesia, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam. Whic the tournament will be held at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok between 2-10 April 2022.
