Football Association of Thailand sent a letter to the governor of Chiang Mai province. Confirmed that the 49th King’s Cup in 2023 will be held in Chiang Mai Province during 3-12 September 2023.
As for Chiang Mai Province, it has hosted two King’s Cup football matches, in 2012 and 2022. and expected to use the 700-year Chiang Mai Stadium as the main stadium of tournament.
The 49th King’s Cup football tournament is expected to feature four teams: Thailand (hosts), India, Lebanon and Iraq.
