JDT Racing Team has confirmed that Indonesian rider Andi Farid Izdihar will miss Round 4 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) after sustaining multiple fractures in a racing incident during the Mandalika Racing Series.
The unfortunate accident has dealt a significant blow to the team’s campaign, with medical assessments confirming that the talented rider suffered several fractures and is currently receiving treatment under the supervision of his medical team.
In an official statement, JDT Racing Team revealed that Andi’s injuries will prevent him from taking part in the upcoming ARRC round as he begins his recovery process.
“Medical examinations have confirmed that Andi suffered multiple fractures and is currently undergoing treatment under the care of his medical team. As a result, he will unfortunately be unable to compete in Round 4 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC),” the team announced.
The Malaysian outfit emphasised that Andi’s health remains the team’s primary concern, pledging full support throughout his rehabilitation before considering any return to competition.
“The health and recovery of our rider remain our utmost priority. We are fully committed to supporting Andi throughout his rehabilitation and ensuring he has the time and care needed to make a complete recovery.”
The absence of the Indonesian rider comes at a crucial stage of the ARRC season, forcing JDT Racing Team to continue its campaign without one of its key competitors.
The entire JDT Racing Team also expressed its solidarity with Andi and his family as the rider begins his rehabilitation journey.
