Race 2 of Round 4 in the IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, Asia Superbike 1000cc category, was full of high-speed drama. Soichiro Minamimoto of the YAMAHA TEKHNE Racing Team ASIA celebrated his first win at the PERTAMINA Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia.
Hafizh Syahrin of the JDT Racing Team secured the P2 spot in Round 4. Reflecting on his performance, Syahrin noted that both he and his team had made a strong comeback from Round 1, which he described as a challenging race compared to their previous seasons. He expressed satisfaction with the team’s acceptance of the P2 position and the situation in the final lap.
“I believe we can fight for the win. Thank you to my team for tuning the bike over the last few days to ensure it was in top condition,” Syahrin said.
The next race will be in Sepang, Malaysia, and he welcomes everyone to come and support him and his team there.
