Chinese Football Association (CFA) officially released a notice on the launch of the Chinese Super League season 2023 request to the club in the AFC Champions League need to send the strongest team to play and didn’t withdraw the team without reason.
In the past two seasons, the club from China send the youth team to play in AFC Champions League due to COVID-19 pandemic and Zero-COVID measure of China government (28-days in quarantine after back from abroad) and therefore can’t send the best squad to play. and this is the reason all club from China was eliminated in the group stage.
“The clubs applying for admission should promise to carefully prepare for the AFC matches in accordance with the AFC match admission requirements and game regulations, and must not abandon the match without reason.” CFA specify in the notice letter to the club in Category No.4 L.09.
“They should obey the management of the match organizer, strengthen the management of the style and discipline of the match, and send the strongest lineup , Go for the best score”
