Aidil Sholeh needs to quickly improve the weaknesses that have been identified, including from the point of view of confidence and mentality, especially when he is on the court.
Aidil will be against Chan Yin Chak from Hong Kong in the first qualifying round in the PRINCESS SIRIVANNAVARI Thailand Master 2024 on 30 January.
Aidil clashed with Chan Yin Chak in the qualifying round of the Macau Open 2019 and won 2-1, but it can no longer be used as a measure considering that his opponent is already ranked higher than him, 72nd in the world at this point.
“I’m lacking in terms of tactics and also mentality. Physically and the rest, everything can be said to be OK but the mentality, the courage is a bit less consistent. I’m not sure why, but it happens often, and it’s hard to control.” Aidil said.
“Anyway, I’ve been working especially in training to be more focused and improve my concentration when making shots,”
“I am grateful that I can still be in the national camp. My goal for the 2024 season is to be better in every tournament me participate if I can get good results and win the tournament so that I can raise my ranking and then participate in the tournament which is higher,”
