Shahrul Saad, defender of Johor Darul Ta’Zim hopes fans come for a catalyst of enthusiasm for a players in TM Piala Malaysia 2022 Final at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur in Saturday.
“I feel very grateful to be able to reach the final of the Malaysia Cup again with JDT after experiencing disappointment last season.” Shahrul said.
“For the final this time, I hope we will do our best to ensure that the championship can belong to JDT.”
“To the supporters of the Johor team, it is hoped that you can come in large numbers during the final match because we all need your support.”
“We will try to cure their disappointment when we lost before and hope there will be luck for JDT this season,”
Shahrul became one of the main characters in the JDT defense when he was often paired with Feroz Baharudin or Jordi Amat after Shane Lowry’s injury.
Throughout this tournament, only one goal was conceded by JDT which was in the second semi-final when they faced Sabah at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
If he succeeds in lifting the Piala Malaysia trophy this Saturday, it will be the second personal title for the Shahrul after winning it with Perak FA in the 2018 season.
