Norizam Tukiman or “Zamsaham”, club president of Kelantan FC looking for sponsors to fly players to Johor for the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 match away against Johor Darul Ta’zim at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium this Saturday.
Through its Facebook social media page, Zamsaham is looking for special sponsorship from any party interested in bringing Kelantan FC players to fly to Johor.
In the comment section of the post, fans urged Zamsaham to discuss with two of the country’s leading airlines, namely Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines, to get sponsors to facilitate the affairs of players and team officials.
At the same time, Norizam told his team that he did not experience any problem in paying the salaries of the players and team officials where so far the salaries have been successfully completed but sometimes there is a slight delay.
“Alhamdulillah, the salaries of the players and the coaching staff are not affected except that sometimes they are late by a week or two. Late but got it. Just understand how the Malaysian football industry is. We are not like some teams that hang around for more than 5 months until the license is suspended. So so far we have been smooth and all salaries have been completed.” Zamsaham said.
“Of course, we will pay the EPF chapter because everything is in stages. InshaAllah if the players show good action and always win and the stadium is full we will be able to finish earlier. As far as the 3 years I have held this ball, none of the players and the management have received a salary. If you can’t, of course, there are certain issues and cases. And I always care about the staff so that they all have access to contact me personally if they are desperate to use the money immediately or if they want to borrow, get an early salary,”
