Tan Cheng Hoe, head coach of Police Tero FC revealing the reason he decided to come to Thailand I didn’t come for ‘transit’ as fans or the media predicted. And he hope that things will happen it will open the way for Malaysian coaches to go to work abroad.
“All the rumors are not true, and it is not transit. It is a difficult decision because RMS (Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah), the players and the coaching staff are very supportive and I have a great 2023 season.” TCH said with NST.
“Police Tero FC offer came out of the blue. Challenging for me, but it has always been my dream to work abroad.”
“With the blessing of the RMS, I joined the Police Tero . I hope this will also open the door for more Malaysian coaches to work abroad.”
“Last Thursday was the first time I spoke to the players. I didn’t want to put pressure on them. Football is not magic, you can’t come in one day, train for two days and immediately get a win.”
“I know the league is only two months away. The management asked me to do my best to ensure the squad stays in the first division (Thai League 1).”
