Sri Pahang FC collects 3 points after invading to beat Perak FC with a score of 3-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 at Stadium Perak, Ipoh.
Nasrol Amri became the fourth player of The Bos Gaurus squad to be shown a red card in the Malaysian League (M League) this season and ironically, all the red cards were shown at home.
The red card received by Nasrol in the 39th minute made the mission of Datuk Lim Teong Kim’s coached squad even more difficult after they were already behind 2-0 at that time.
In the action involved, Fandi Ahmad’s men only needed 12 minutes to take the lead when a quick counter-attack carried out yielded results after Sergio Aguero’s pass was finished off by Kpah Sherman.
The visitor’s second goal was produced in the 34th minute starting from a free kick by Fadhli Shas that found Sherman before Sherman’s cross was deflected by Sfefano Brundo into the home team’s goal.
Nasrol’s tackle to stop Aguero’s run towards the goal led to a red card by the referee, Razlan Joffri Ali.
Continuing the second half, Perak tried to give competition to the Tok Gajah squad but failed to create an opportunity that really tested Izham Tarmizi Roslan’s goal.
After deflecting Nor Azam Azih’s attempt in the 66th minute, Bryan See broke through for the third time – this time through substitute Muhammad Zuhair Aizat Mohd Nazri’s finish in the 74th minute for a final score of 3-0.
