BG Pathum United, the runner-up of the Thai League last season, has announced the launch of Lidor Cohen Israeli striker age,29 to join the team for the 2022/23 season.
Cohen began to play in the Thai League with Nongbua Pitchaya FC in the 2021/22 season, before suffering a serious knee injury in the first game on the field and causing him to rest for almost a year to heal his injuries and rehabilitate.
“I’m very happy to sign with the biggest club in Thailand like BG Pathum United. I’d like to thank the club for giving me an opportunity to play again after my injury. I hope to make the fans happy and bring success to the club.” Cohen said with the club.
“I know it’s a challenge to play with superstar players in the team but I believe in my skills and abilities. I know this club has a lot of Thai National team players as well as quality foreign players. I hope to play alongside them because I know I can contribute to the team.”
“I love the atmosphere at BG Stadium, and what I want to say to the fans is, please wait to see me performing on the pitch, to see what I can do. I’ll do my best. I missed football a lot.”
Lidor Cohen, 29, has played for different clubs in his home country and Georgia in clubs as follows, Maccabi Petan Tikva, Beitar Jerusalem, FC Dila (Georgia), and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
