The management of Kelantan Red Warrior FC (KRW FC) has officially responded to the recent show cause letter issued by FIFA.
Team President Nik Hafiz Naim Nik Hassan confirmed the development when approached for comment by Astro Arena journalist, Fina Nasrom. According to Fina, KRW FC submitted their formal reply to FIFA on July 26.
The response aims to resolve the matter swiftly and prevent any further disruption to Kelantan RW’s ongoing preparations for the season.
“KRW President Nik Hafiz Naim believes the former Kelantan support coach has misdirected his claims,” Fina wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“The FIFA letter has been addressed and the response was submitted on July 26, with hopes that the issue will not escalate further or interfere with KRW’s preparations.”
Fina also reported that Nik Hafiz denied receiving any directive from FIFA regarding a suspension or restriction on the club’s ability to register new players.
Previously, Kelantan RW issued a statement distancing itself from any liabilities or administrative matters involving another East Coast club, Kelantan FC.
The club reiterated its willingness to fully cooperate with FIFA and the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) should there be any official requests or investigations into the matter.
