The result sees both nations collect a point after opening-round victories, with England unable to build on their impressive 4-2 win over Croatia, while Ghana followed up their 1-0 triumph over Panama with another determined performance.
England entered the match full of confidence after their high-scoring opening victory and immediately asserted control through possession and midfield dominance.
Manager Gareth Southgate’s side fielded a star-studded lineup featuring Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Marc Guehi, while Ghana were led by Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo and Leicester City striker Jordan Ayew.
As expected, England dictated the tempo throughout the contest, controlling possession and creating the majority of the attacking opportunities.
However, Ghana’s organised defensive structure proved difficult to penetrate, with the Black Stars standing firm to keep one of the tournament favourites at bay.
Despite England’s territorial advantage, Ghana remained compact and disciplined, limiting the Three Lions to few clear-cut chances.
England’s best opportunity arrived in the closing stages when Nico O’Reilly rose highest to meet a cross, only to see his header crash against the crossbar.
The rebound fell kindly to captain Harry Kane, but the striker blazed his follow-up effort over the bar, allowing Ghana to escape with a valuable clean sheet and a hard-earned point.
The goalless draw leaves Group L finely poised heading into the final round of fixtures.
England will face Panama on 28 June, knowing victory would likely secure their place in the knockout stage.
Meanwhile, Ghana face a stern challenge against 2018 FIFA World Cup runners-up Croatia, with both sides still firmly in contention for a place in the Round of 32.
