Malaysian Muay Thai rising star Rifdean Masdor delivered a courageous performance to defeat Thai veteran Bernueng Sor Salacheep by majority decision in an intense Atomweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Friday Fights 118, held at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.
Rifdean controlled the pace of the fight in the first two rounds, showcasing superior footwork, sharp elbows, and calculated aggression that kept his opponent on the back foot. However, the momentum briefly shifted in the final round when Bernueng landed a powerful knee to Rifdean’s chin, leaving the Malaysian momentarily shaken.
Despite suffering a concussion scare, Rifdean showed immense heart and resilience, continuing to press forward and trading blows until the final bell.
In the end, the judges rewarded Rifdean’s overall dominance with a majority decision victory, marking his fourth win in the ONE Friday Fights series.
