Faisal Halim, midfielder of Selangor FC, will be absent from the Malaysia national team in the last two matches of FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers Round 2 Group D in June due to an incident hit acid.
According to Datuk Haji Hamidin Mohd Amin, President of the Football Association of Malaysia(FAM), he’s confirmed this situation with the media.
“Of course he’s in a sad state, he’s strong-willed. The important thing I say to him is to forget football for a while to make sure he recovers quickly in the next few months” DHMA said.
