Malaysia U23 national team announced a squad list of 24 players for the central training camp in Shanghai, China from 19 to 27 December 2023 in preparation for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 at Qatar in next April.
Three players who did not participate in the previous central training camp on 13-21 November 2023 are on the list, namely Mukhairi Ajmal, Ruventhiran Vengadesan and Alif Zikri to fill the absence of Ubaidullah Shamsul, Adam Farhan and Haqimi Azim Rosli who could not participate in the camp this time this is due to injury problems.

The players will report at Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya, this Tuesday, 19 December 2023, before they are scheduled to depart for Shanghai, China, on Thursday, 21 December 2023, to face two Tier 2 International Matches against China U23 national team there on Saturday, 23 December and Tuesday, December 26, 2023, before returning to Malaysia in the following day.
