Esteban Solari, head coach of Johor Darul Ta’Zim so appreciates the quality of the player and mention to Nathaniel Shio Hong Wan, a defender of the team is a hero for the opening goal in the Piala FA Malaysia 2023 Final last night.
“I’m happy with the quality of his game. He’s a player who gives his all when he plays and I told him that the time will come when he’ll score goals.” Esteban said mention to Hong Wan.
“He also often helps his teammates by blocking opposing players in the middle position,”
Solari also did not deny that his players struggled to tame KL City before winning last night.
The playing pattern of Kuala Lumpur City in the final action caused difficulties for his players who had to struggle to find a goal before finally successfully defending the championship.
“Tonight (last night) you yourself saw it was a difficult match for us because it was the final action even though we often attacked and created chances it was not easy but we had the confidence and patience to keep dominating the game.
“Although we dominated the game in the first half, we struggled to break down their defense and as a result, our players started to tire after making various moves and transitions.”
“During the break, I gave words of encouragement for them to be more patient and correct any mistakes in the first half. After that, they started to show their determination and continued efforts paid off for us,”
