Zafuan Azeman, an ex-player forward Malaysia U19 national team moves to join Perlis United in the MBSB Bank Championship 2023(Liga M3) in the second leg after left from Uthai Thani FC at the end of the last season.
Zafuan (Muhammadsafwan Kleebkaew in Thai name) moved to Uthai Thani FC during the second leg of the 2022/23 season as a Thai player quota. but rarely get much chance and was referred to as a substitute for only 4 matches, totaling 51 minutes, before not going on with the team in the Thai League 1 next season along with 8 other players who were previously announced
However, Perlis United, the new club of Zafuan is considered as the hometown team of him as well.
Now, Perlis United is currently ranked 7th in the table in Liga M3 Malaysia 2023 season.
Liga M3 is the highest level of the Malaysia Amateur football league system. and this season there will be no promotion teams. But will select the champion team and the runner-up to play in the Piala Malaysia 2023 along with 14 other teams in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023.
