Qatar national team rose to 5th ranked of Asia in the FIFA World Ranking after being crowned trophy of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 last night.
Qatar is the 5th team ever in history to be a defending champion after beating Jordan 3-1 in the final match at Lusail Stadium last night.
Following points in the FIFA World Rankings, Qatar has raised 21 ranks to 37th rank in the world and 5th rank in Asia and increased by 92.2 points from 7 matches in the AFC Asian Cup 2023.
