Paulo Bento, head coach of Korea Republic national team said about the red card is ‘totally unfair’ after match lost to Ghana national team 2-3 in the FIFA World Cup 2022 Group stage, Group H last night.
Bento was shown a direct red card after getting into the field and arguing with Anthony Tayler, 1st referee. As a result, he will not stand on the bench in the final game of the group stage.
“Not even a draw was fair,” Sergio Costa’s Assistant head coach said in a post-match press conference.
“We totally deserved the win so we can be very, very proud of what we have done. The result wasn’t fair. You can count on us for the next match.”
