Head coach Soleen Al-Zoubi has emphasized the importance of these matches in fine-tuning the team’s tactics and evaluating player performances before the regional tournament.

“We have assembled a squad with a blend of youth and experience, and these matches in Dubai will provide a valuable test of our readiness for the AFF Women’s Cup. It’s an important step in our journey, and we aim to use these games to build confidence and cohesion,” said Al-Zoubi.

The Malayan Tigress are set to depart for Dubai on Sunday, October 20, 2024, where they will undergo intensive training before their friendly matches.

With the AFF Women’s Cup looming, the friendly matches in Dubai will offer Malaysia an opportunity to face tough competition ahead of their campaign.
